Hello,

We're reaching out to you today to inform you of an upcoming maintenance activity that will require a reboot of your VPS with primary IP 108.160.159.203.

In the coming days we will be upgrading your VPS to the latest version of the OpenVZ virtualization platform. This will upgrade the kernel inside of your VPS to version 3.10 and make many behind the scenes updates that will improve the availability and stability of your VPS.

While we're generally able to do maintenance with your VPS online through the use of live migrations to other host nodes without any impact to you, given the differences in kernel branches 3.10 and the legacy 2.6 branch you're on now couples with other changes such as the format your VPSs files are stored in a reboot of the VPS is required in this case.

It's important to note that there is no risk to your data during these upgrades and your system and files will remain in-tact. In most cases these reboots take 1-3 minutes but in some cases we've seen between 5 and 10 minutes for the final reboot. Unfortunately we're not able to provide a more specific estimated time given the scale and complexity of these upgrades but you can expect the reboot within the next 3 days.  We will be performing as many of these upgrades as possible outside of normal business hours.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your continued business. As always, we're here to help so let us know if we can ever assist you with anything!

Stay tuned for new and exciting announcements from us!
